With its easy-to-use voice prompts and durable design, the Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator is ideal for active organizations, including EMS teams, police vehicles, taxis, construction sites, sports teams, travel companies, outdoor adventure companies, and other mobile groups.

Designed for rugged use, this waterproof defibrillator was built to surpass rigorous testing requirements, including jetting water, crushing loads up to 500 pounds, temperature changes, and a one-meter drop onto concrete.

The Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator supports an optional infant/child key that can turn the device into a pediatric defibrillator. In this mode, the device tailors its voice instructions and therapy to the treatment needs of a child. This also means that just one set of pads works for adults, children, and infants — simplifying a stressful rescue.

Philips-brand AEDs have an outstanding reputation for reliability and effectiveness. With more than 40 studies on its effectiveness, the electric medicine delivered by the Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator is the world leader in AEDs.

Weight At just 3.5 pounds, the Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator is among the smallest and lightest defibrillators.
Adaptable for children Every Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator supports an optional infant/child key. This key can be purchased to toggle between adult and pediatric shock strength, without having to change to different pads.
Clear voice prompts Saving a life can be stressful. That’s why the Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator offers “On-Demand CPR Coaching.” These clear and calm voice instructions are precisely timed to the user’s actions, guiding him or her through each step of a stressful emergency.
High current / low energy therapy Philips' high-current/low energy therapy ensures a potent defibrillation dose, while minimizing side effects that are harmful to a fragile heart.
“Quick shock” feature Studies show that it’s critical to deliver a shock quickly after CPR chest compressions. The Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator’s “Quick Shock” feature delivers therapy in an average of eight seconds after chest compressions. Other devices can take two to three times that time, reducing the likelihood of shock success, and potentially, survival.
Factory testing Each Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator goes through a 120-point test before it leaves the factory.
Daily self checks On location, the Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator automatically conducts self-tests every single day. (Most defibrillators conduct self tests only once a week.) It performs more than 85 different tests in all. Even the pads are tested for readiness!
